Terms & Conditions

1. NO telephonic orders accepted, only emails (orders@douglasjones.co.za) or faxes (0861 667 243).
2. All prices quoted exclude VAT.
3. Stockists and retailers are subject to the following freight conditions:
   • All prices include delivery to major centres for orders over R3300 (on SRP pricing), excluding the Cape Metropole.
   • Orders less than R3300 (on SRP pricing) to major centres are subject to a R330 freight charge.
   • All orders sent to outlying areas are subject to an additional freight charge (the percentage of which to be advised).
   • Orders less than R3750 (on SRP pricing) to outlying areas will be subject to a R450 freight charge (as well as percentage charged).
4. Merchants and project based traders will be quoted freight rates on all orders.
5. NO CLAIMS WHATSOEVER will be entertained for short or incorrect deliveries if not advised within 48hours of receipt of goods.
6. NO CLAIMS WHATSOEVER WILL BE CONSIDERED AFTER MOSAICS HAVE BEEN FIXED. Should there be a need for a Douglas Jones representative to come out to site post installation, there is a process to be followed please refer to the DJ Portal on the website for more information.
7. Delivery notes serve only as proof of delivery and not as an invoice.
8. There is a handling fee of at least 15% where goods are accepted for credit. If we are notified of returns within 7 days, no handling fee will be charged. Please note that we will not accept any returns if we have not been notified beforehand. Douglas Jones reserves the right to charge more than 15% handling charge where necessary, subject to confirmation. There is a freight charge over and above the handling fee for any returns (excluding the Cape.) NO RETURNS over 3 months old and for returns younger than 3 months, Douglas Jones will credit the retailers account NO CASH REFUNDS/ NO RETURNS ACCEPTED for order quantities below 1m2.
9. All items are listed in chronological order.
10. A code with a CA at the end indicates that the product is assembled in our Creative Assembly department.
11. All orders received before 10am (without any irregularities) will be dispatched on the same day. Orders received after 10am will be acted on the following day.

All orders for special mixes under 10 sheets will be subject to a 20% surcharge on merchants’ SRP calculations.
All special mixes to be priced before ordering.

SUBJECT TO THE VOLATILITY OF THE RAND TO MAJOR CURRENCIES AT THE TIME OF GOING TO PRINT, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO ISSUE ANOTHER PRICELIST AT ANY TIME DEEMED APPROPRIATE AND / OR NECESSARY

Returns Policy

• No claims whatsoever will be entertained for short or incorrect deliveries if not advised within 48 hours of receipt of goods.
• No claims whatsoever will be considered after tiles are fixed.
• If we are notified of returns within 7 days, no handling fee will be charged.
• Douglas Jones will NOT accept any returns if they have not been notified beforehand.

Douglas Jones reserves the right to charge more than a 15% handling charge where necessary, and subject to confirmation.
